Biography
Nicole Boguslaw has been playing cello since she was eight years old. Her teachers have included Diana Fish, Paul York, and Evelyn Elsing. She performed on the premier of “Ballad for cello and seven cellos” by Aaron Kernis, and performed on his first recording, “Cello Vision” in 2008.
She has performed regularly at the Aspen Summer Music Festival as well as the AIMS Festival in Graz, Austria. She recently completed her Artist Diploma in Orchestral Studies at the San Francisco Academy Orchestra, where she studied with Amos Yang of the San Francisco Symphony. Recently, she has been working on a number of collaborative projects, as well as a soloist, focusing particularly on new music, throughout the Washington D.C. area, where she currently resides. She is currently a member of the cello section of the Annapolis Symphony.
